Up Next from The Looking Glass:
Ken Ludwig's Shakespeare in Hollywood
Ken Ludwig's "Shakespeare in Hollywood" transports two of the Bard's most beloved characters to the golden age of Hollywood. It's 1934, and Shakespeare’s Oberon and Puck have magically materialized on the set of director Max Reinhardt's A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Instantly smitten by the glitz and glamour of show biz, the two are ushered onto the silver screen to play (who else?) themselves. Join The Looking Glass Theatre Company as we present this farcical take on movie-making magic -- one weekend only!
Supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council. Funding has also been provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
Ken Ludwig's "Shakespeare in Hollywood” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com.
